Stephanie Gallant
Artist Bio
Stephanie Gallant is a visual artist from Newfoundland, Canada, currently residing in Montreal.
Though working as a scientist by day, Stephanie has always had passion for art in many forms. Drawing frequently as a child and focusing on photography in her teens, she learned to carefully capture the natural world in a way which allowed her to develop a sharp eye for composition and colour.
Since 2018, her passion has grown for watercolour painting, which lends a delicate but lively rendering to the subject at hand. A self-taught artist, Stephanie has been honing her abilities to create realistic and vibrantly detailed botanical works of art for enjoyment year-round.
Steph operates her home studio and runs her online shop from Montreal, but returns home to Newfoundland to participate in markets and other art events whenever possible!
